Sat June 26--Garden Work! at NOPL at Cicero library

Thumbnail
June 26, 2010 from 10am to 1pm
Let's arrange to meet at the garden site (at the library), spread compost, and divide up the plots on 6/26 at 10am. We've got live Latin American Rock music coming to the library at 12:30pm, so our work will be rewarded with entertainment. We need some people to meet at OCRRA's compost site with trucks and tools. Anyone?Bring tools, plants for yourself or others, and wear grubby clothes.Let's get it done!See More

A lot of good ideas for the garden name. Once you see many gardeners come together I believe the word "community" will come to mind for us. I vote for a name including "community".

This morning b4 work I started thyme, calendula and red and green cabbage. Have been covering the outdoor plants at night. In the herb garden I have been harvesting…See More
